Production is the main focus for Hemen Biarritz

Hemen Biarritz is taking the environment and our planet very seriously only using 100% organic fibers. All products are made with high-quality ecological cotton from Europe. They only use small family-owned factories in Porto, that are producing everything from the most sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

This means Hemen Biarritz has a total transparent production and can be 100% hands-on with the products and quality of those.

In the end, these factors are all key in making a unique and high-quality product, that also make the smallest environmental footprint to manufacture.

Because of the big focus on production and the environment, Hemen Biarritz is also proudly associated with OEKO-TEX and GOTS related to its use of organic cotton. GOTS or ”Global Organic Textile Standards”, is the highest standard certification considering social and environmental criteria for textiles made from 100% organic fibers.

100% of Hemen Biarritz products are Oeko-tex certified. Oeko-Tex is an independent testing and certification system for textile products. What makes Oeko-Tex special is its controls and limits on the chemical used that is far beyond applicable national and international standards.

Hemen Biarritz is taking its role in the environment very seriously. One area where you could see this is by the brand being an official partner in the international non-profit organization” One Percent for the Planet” who’s mission is to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.

In” One Percent for the Planet” Hemen Biarritz has committed themselves to give at least 1% of the annual turnover to six focused areas: climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife.
